When is local league play

USTA LEAGUE PLAY
It’s no secret that adult tennis is steadily becoming more and more popular in the South Bend area! Why? The opportunity to increase exercise, social circles and compete with other similar level players. And now, it’s never been easier to meet up with other players and join a tennis league. Joining a league and registering is fast, easy and convenient. You can choose your tennis format and time of year. USTA leagues run during the regular season and playoffs. The playoffs are unique in that local winners compete against other players from surrounding area cities and states! Make great new friends, get some serious exercise and improve your game by joining the South Bend USTA League of your choice.

Here’s a sampling of the exciting line-up in the South Bend area:

SUMMER LEAGUES
Reach out and connect with USTA players in the extremely popular summer leagues. Both men’s and women’s leagues are put together with similar playing level competitors. From May through June, Men’s and Women’s Michiana area teams compete, ending in a Team Championship by playing level. From there, winning local teams go on to compete in the district, state, Midwest and National championships.Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, this is the ultimate opportunity to compete against others in your level in a team format.

WOMEN ‘COMBO’ DOUBLES
South Bend USTA Leagues also offers Women’s Doubles Leagues during fall and winter.
The South Bend Racquet Club offers 6.5, 7.5 and 8.5 Combo Levels. 8.5 and 6.5 Divisions plays Mondays at 10:30 or 12:30. 7.5 Division plays Wednesdays either 9am; 11am or 12:30pm. A Saturday Division is also available for all 3 levels.

MIXED DOUBLES
Winters are long and cold in South Bend…so we offer a Mixed Doubles League for some fun and competition!
Men and women at a similar level combine forces and compete against other local teams.
Sign up for the 6.0, 7.0 or 8.0 division. Weekly matches take place on Friday or Saturday evening, depending on the schedule.
All play is indoors!
